Mat­thi­as Kut­sch­mann has made Frank Goosen’s sto­ries into a film cal­led Radio Hei­mat – Damals war auch schei­ße!. It is a coming-of-age come­dy based on sto­ries from the books Radio Hei­mat and Mein Ich und sein Leben. The film is set in the Ruhr area in the ear­ly 1980s. 

Within this con­text, Kut­sch­mann and Goo­sen, who call each other “Mat­tek” and “Frän­ge”, will explain how lite­ra­tu­re turns into film.

Frän­ge will ask Mat­tek about the film, one will read from the screen­play, the other from the books. Then, ever­yo­ne will watch the film and after­wards, the audi­ence will get the chan­ce to ask the two all kinds of questions.
