Matthias Kutschmann has made Frank Goosen’s stories into a film called Radio Heimat – Damals war auch scheiße!. It is a coming-of-age comedy based on stories from the books Radio Heimat and Mein Ich und sein Leben. The film is set in the Ruhr area in the early 1980s.
Within this context, Kutschmann and Goosen, who call each other “Mattek” and “Fränge”, will explain how literature turns into film.
Fränge will ask Mattek about the film, one will read from the screenplay, the other from the books. Then, everyone will watch the film and afterwards, the audience will get the chance to ask the two all kinds of questions.
