Christian Petzold’s film Transit is based on the same-titled novel from 1942 by Anna Seghers. The film tells a story of love, escape, exile, and the search for a place called home – set in today’s Marseille.
After the screening, Christian Petzold will talk about his bold adaptation of the novel transferring the 1942 plot into the present time.
