After the murder of their parents, Antigone, her siblings and grandmother find refuge in Montreal where they live an quiet and easy life in their small flat. Antigone is not only a great student, but also hold her family together. The tragedy kicks off as brother Étéocle is shot at the arrest of brother Polynice- Motivated by her sense of duty towards her family, Antigone risks her own future to save the one of her family.

This gripping, vigorous and modern adaptation by director Sophie Deraspe is an empathetic family drama that does not hold back critique of the current experience of migration or seeking refuge in North America.
